It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katrina Ann Chavers of Montgomery Village, Maryland, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Paul S. Plummer, Betty J. Plummer, Genevieve DeMar and Louis Webster; and her godparents, Bernice DeMar and Charles Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Jalen and Brooklyn; her parents, Paul Plummer and Ann Plummer; her stepson Nuri; her grandson Judah; her cousin Vanessa Phillips (Terence); her aunts and uncles, Beverly Clipper, Deborah Powers, Phyllis Diggs, Les Plummer, Larry Plummer, Louis DeMar and Steve Clipper; her former husband Stephen Chavers; her mother-in-law Linda Chavers; and her close friends, Iris Perry, Nikora Groomes, Joanna King and Daphne Giles.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goshen United Methodist Church (19615 Goshen Rd, Montgomery Village, MD 20879). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Stewartown Cemetery (7700 Brink Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882).
