He was predeceased by : his parents, Vital Bard and Amanda Bard; his wife Gloria Parkinson Bard; and his stepchild Kathi Belle. He is survived by : his children, Shawn Bard (Dineen) and Tina Werking; his stepdaughter Doreen "Dee" Corley; his grandchildren, Rachael, Sawyer Bard, Tyler Werking, Dwayne Williams and Doreen Clower; and his sister Evetter Pelletier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
