It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dixie Petrie (Mount Airy, Maryland), born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Sexton and Nanabelle Sexton; and her brother Hubert Sexton. She is survived by : her son Michael Aaron Petrie of Mt. Airy; her sister Alice Virginia; her brother-in-law Ken Dyer of Mt. Airy, MD; her brother Robert David; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Sexton of Middle River. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
