It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Randall Friend of Mountain Lake Park, Maryland, who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Friend and Norma "Jean" Michaels. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lou Friend (Gregory); his children, Michael Friend (Audrey) and Carrie Reckart (Jason); his grandchildren, Kyle Hackett, Alex Friend, Austin Reckart and Emma Reckart; his great grandchildren, Alia Myers and Leora Friend; and his siblings, David Friend (Loretta), Stephen Friend (Wendi) and Deborah Crumley (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Park Church of the Brethren (110 Church Ln, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the George Cemetery (2308 Swanton Rd, Swanton, MD 21561).
