It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Alleta Gilroy (Nanjemoy, Maryland), who passed away on November 24, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Riley Jefferson and Mildred Catherine Spicer Jefferson; her husband Clifton Lee Gilroy; and her siblings, Kenny Jefferson, Frank Jefferson and Elizabeth Wedding.

She is survived by : her sons, Rex Gilroy (Mickie) and Steve Gilroy; her grandchildren, Penny, Tabitha, Sabrina, Shannon, Kenny, Tiffany, David, Cyra, Shayla, William, Clifton, McKenzie and Mason; and her great grandchildren, Danica, Riley, Kelly, Edward, Nicholi, Jayden, Samiyah, Joe and Aiden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Phyllis' name are asked to the First Baptist Church of Welcome, P.O. Box 107, Welcome, MD 20693.
