It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edgar Henkel of New Windsor, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Norman Henkel and Louise A. Marling Henkel; his children, Kathleen Calder and John T. Henkel; and his sister L. Marling "Puc" Cohen.

He is survived by : his wife Carole A. Henkel; his children, Mary Denise Patri (Tom) of Naples, FL, Kevin Calder (Amanda) of New Windsor, MD and Jennifer L. Tichy (James) of Hanover, PA; his daughter-in-law Lisa C. Henkel of Fort Worth, TX; his sister N. Chris Milton of Palm Harbor, FL.; and his grandchildren, John A., Abigail Henkel, Maximos Adams and Brooklynn Adams.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Scholarship Program at McDonogh School, 8600 McDonogh Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
