Francis Marion Carlin III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 88, Francis Marion Carlin III (Ocean City, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Francis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Francis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen E. Carlin (Blackman); and his parents, Francis M. Carlin, Jr. and Lillian Carlin (Borgenson). He is survived by: his children, Christine L. Spencer (Kathleen R. Carlin) and Francis M. Carlin IV. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's United Methodist Church (501 E 8th St, Ocean City, NJ 08226).
