Benny Cosner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benny Cosner of Oakland, Maryland, who passed away on October 5, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Cosner and Zela Cosner (Burgess); his wife R. Jane Cosner (Park); and his siblings, Violet Michaels, Dorothy Curry, Mae Gordon, Edna Miller, Annabelle Workman, Grace Cosner, Rose Cosner, Blanche Lindsey, David, Homer, Arthur and Elmer Cosner.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Cosner (Janet) of Red House, Cheryl Cruey (Greg) of North Tazwell, VA and Nancy Cosner; his granddaughters, Emily Nelson (Robbie), Sarah Lantz (Evan), Jennifer McCroskey (Joey) and Holly Cosner; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Lucas Nelson, Eliana Lantz, Molly and Owen McCroskey; and his siblings, Sam Cosner of Russelville, KY, Edith Griffith of Roanoke, VA, Cora Stroud of Culpeper, VA, Patricia Gordon of Front Royal, VA, Barbara Milam of Crab Orchard, WV, Norma Sommers of Conneaut Lake, PA and Linda Evans of Oakland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
