She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Thompson and Helen E. Thompson (Johannessen); her brother Michael W. Thompson; her former husband Adil; her children, Joseph A. Yilmaz (Jennifer) of Freeport and Janet A. Yilmaz (Chet Rohrbach) of Ocean City, Maryland; her sisters, Janice E. Thompson, Marcia T. Jakovics, Sharon J. Renner and Wendy J. Thompson of Baltimore, Maryland; and also Yasemin Karaman (Ali). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
