He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Kaouris and Adamantia (Chames); and his brothers, Nick Kaouris and Anthony Kaouris. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Elsa" (Filippatos); his children, Demetrios Kaouris (Keri) and Joanne Misovec (Andy); his grandchildren, Andrew, Elizabeth Misovec and George Kaouris; and his siblings, G. N. Restaurant, Pete Kaouris (Christina), Bill Kaouris (Nikki), Mike Kaouris (Maria), Anna Zacharopoulos and Agnes Kostopoulos (Demetrios). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
