She was predeceased by: her husband William Gatewood; her daughter Elizabeth Gerlach; her grandsons, Brian Gerlach and Mark Gerlach; and her siblings, Frank Klima, Phillip Klima and Mildred Schofield.

She is survived by: her child Beverly D'Ascenzo; her grandchildren, Donna Neukum, Cindy Chenworth and Gina Boras; and her siblings, William Klima, Ruth Mongelli and Virginia Beland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
