He was predeceased by : his parents, George B. Tyre and Irene Purnell Tyre. He is survived by : his wife Veronica Tyre; his children, Larry L. Tyre (Lyndsay), Isreal Smith, John Whaley, Renee Gaynor (James), Candas Wallace (Michael) and Shayla Tyre; and his sister Mary Miller (William). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
