He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Lanning and Mildred Lanning (McMahon); his daughter Stacy Whewell; his grandchildren, Nicole Robinson (Mike), Kristin Price (James) and Keith Whewell Jr.; his great grandchildren, Zander, Xavier, Claire, Olivia and Sydney; his siblings, Joe Lanning (Joan), Bob Lanning (JoAnn) and Regina Lanning; his wife Shirley Lanning; his son Eddie Lanning; and his brother Jack Lanning. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
