He was predeceased by: his son Michael Steckel; his brother Gregory K. Steckel; and his parents, Albert J. Steckel and Anne M. Steckel (Nee Jaketic) of Pittsburgh, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Ericka Steckel, Alison Steckel and John Cykoski; his grandchildren, Austin, Gregory, Brayden, Madelyn and Lilly; his brother Alan Steckel (Kathy); and his nieces, Melissa, Natalie, Rachel and Adrienne of Pittsburgh, PA.
