He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver W. Spurrier and Hilda Thomas Spurrier; his sons, David W. Spurrier and Michael J. Spurrier; and his granddaughter Kristin Marie Spurrier.
He is survived by : his wife Patricia Ann Bailey Spurrier; his children, Thomas L. Spurrier, Jr. (Valerie) of Taneytown, MD, John F. Spurrier (Robin) of Fort Myers, FL, James E. Spurrier (Claudia) of Fort Myers, FL, Mary Jane LePard (David) of Cockeysville, MD and Barbara A. Krepps (Steve) of Reisterstown, MD; and his daughter-in-law Dorothy Owens (Wayne) of Manchester, MD. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
