He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartley James Brittingham and Mary E. Budd Brittingham; and his daughter Teresa Dawn Melson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Ellen Brittingham; his son Brian Brittingham of Parsonsburg; his grandchildren, Allison Shrom (Deric) of Nokesville, VA, Holly Bargar (Luke) of Berlin, Evan Melson of Bishopville and Adam Melson of Bishopville; his great grandchildren, Luke Bargar, II and Asher Shrom; and his siblings, Richard Brittingham (Kathy) of Salisbury and Patricia Harrison of Salisbury. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
