He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Kortman and Rosemarie Kortman. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kortman; his children, Tyler and Jessica Kortman; his siblings, David Kortman (Tara) and Kathy Fee (Paul); and his siblings' children, Sean, Erin, Maddie, Ethan and Connor.
