He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Dana; his parent Vivian Showalter; his sons, Douglas M. Stanovich, Justin G. Showalter and Alexander J. Showalter; his siblings, Shannon Tucker, Tabitha Allen and Michael Ostasewski; his parents-in-law, Barbra and Louis Stanovich; and his aunts and uncles, Mark, Matthew Showalter, Catherine Puckett, Stanley "Skip" and Lynn Ostasewski.
