She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Leslie W. Nelson; her children, Christopher J. Nelson and Sarah M. Hudgins (Eric); her sister Pam Martin; her grandchildren, Logan, Kaylee Hudgins and Jesse Hudgins; her brother-in-law Milton Nelson (Debbie); and her parents, Roy Armstrong and Hilda Armstrong. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
