He was predeceased by: his son John Wenzel Jr.; and his grandson Christopher Walker. He is survived by: his wife Helen Wenzel; his children, Kathy Walker (Gary Walker) and Steven Wenzel (Angela Wenzel); and his grandchildren, Jared Wenzel (Katherine), Rachel Check (William), Brittany Wenzel (Jonathan Leathers), Steven Wenzel Jr., Beth Walker, Gabby Grum and Bradley Wenzel.
