She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rod Sorensen; her parents, Alfred Duehr and Anna Duehr; her children, Daniel Sorensen (Alexis) and Kristina Carroll (James); her grandchildren, Keira Sorensen, Gavin Carroll and Grayson Carroll; and her siblings, Alfred Duehr (Mary Beth) and Michelle Yannone (Louis).
