He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Regina; his brothers, Patrick Frey and David Frey; and his grandson Tyler Frey.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Frey of Pasadena; his children, Richard Frey Jr. (Ashley) of Danville Alabama, Michael Frey (Terri) of Curtis Bay, Lisa Marie Pack (Brandon) of Ft and Carson of Colorado; his grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Hunter, Kassidy, Haley, Chelsey, Chloe, Kyley, Ceaira, Bradin and Ethan; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Nevaeh, Faith, Noah and Liam.
