She is survived by: her children, Lisa Volberg (Ken) of Pittsburgh, PA, Edward Tharp of Glen Burnie, MD, Kenneth Tharp (Anna) of Ferndale, MD and Alvah Tharp (Michele) of Pasadena, MD; her grandchildren, Ashley Gibb (Dave), Alvah Tharp Jr., Tyler Tharp, Jacob Tharp, Dylan Poling-Tharp (Sarah) and Corey Poling-Tharp; and her sister Sheila Tait of Pittsburgh, PA.. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
