With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Hicks Butler of Pocomoke City, Maryland, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy S. Hicks and Bertha Johnson Hicks; her husband Marion L. Butler, Sr.; her son-in-law Norman Ennis; and her sisters, Mabel Messick and Shirley Turlington.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Jean Ennis of Pocomoke City, Marion L. Butler, Jr. (Helen) of Pocomoke City and Penny Butler of Pocomoke City; her sister Betty Richardson of Snow Hill; and her grandchildren, Glen Ennis (Lynne), Dean Ennis (Harriet), Mel Butler (Kate), Matthew Butler (Sarah), Michelle McColligan, Jerry Taylor, Lisa Taylor, Pedro Valdez (Julia) and Jeanette Jardine (Jim). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
