It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Gaylord of Port Deposit, Maryland, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Williams and Bessie Lee Williams; her grandfather Reverend James S. Bell; her grandson Terry "TJ" Williams; and her siblings, Sarah James, James Sylvester Gray, Bertha "Bert" Williams and William "Bill" Williams.
She is survived by : her children, Terry Williams (Romaine), Wanda Degay (Keith), Zelda Davis (Sammie) and Gene "Junior" Gaylord (Madelyn); her husband Gene "Bunny" Gaylord; her grandchildren, Adam, Monika, Jessica Elecia (Joe), Sterling, Juwan and Joslynn (Arthur); her great grandchildren, Mya, Ayanna, Bubbie, Amira, Lily, Ashton, Olivia and Morgan; her great great grandchild Maliyah; her sister Owens (Malcolm "Chrissy" Owens); her children-in-law, Keith Degay, Sammie Davis Jr., Romaine Williams and Shannon Gaylord; her parents-in-law, Malcolm "Chrissy" Owens, Conrad Gaylord and Florence Marshall; and her close friends, Barbara Ringgold, Eleanor "Peewee" Gaylord and Signolia Clark.
