We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2020, at the age of 72, James Richard Hawkins Sr. (Port Deposit, Maryland), born in Bedford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Roger Hawkins, Cecil Hawkins, Mary Frances Garrett and Shirley Turner. He is survived by : his children, James Hawkins Jr. (Carrie), William Hawkins (Randi), Angela Ickes, Dorothy Aul and Dawn Parsons; his sisters, Betty Mays and Linda Lennon; and his pet Chedder. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
