We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2019, at the age of 83, Marva Gittings (Port Deposit, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her son Larry Haines; and her siblings, Elverson Brown, Margaret Gaylord, Oliver Haines, Pauline Clark and Mae Mason.

She is survived by : her brother Ronald Haines (Virnelda); her children, Beverly Hughes, Cyrill Parham, Tameka Guy and Willard Hughes III; her daughter-in-law Linda Haines; her grandchildren, Michele Gittings, Nicole Forchion (Wesley) and Latonia Haines (Kobe); her great grandchildren, Michaela Forchion and Victoria Asiegbu; her nieces, Ina Brown-Woodson and Joyce Wallace (Bobby); her goddaughter Gwendolyn Eure (Rex); and her friends, Doris Presberry, Monalyn and Zeford Gaddy. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
