He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sordiff and Barbara Raymond Sordiff; and his children, Joseph Remick and Amy Remick. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sordiff; and his son John Remick.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home (1493 Clayton St, Perryville, MD 21903). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
