She is survived by: her sons, Bernard Jr. (Tammy), Steven (Tee) and Mark Montgomery; her grandchildren, Travaun, Dae, Shona, Mark Jr., Azayiah, Steven Montgomery, Jr., K'la Coates, Randal and Randolph Bland; her siblings, Charles (Shelia), Kelly, Sr. (Tommy Jenifer), Francis Lyles (Jerome) and Elaine Jenifer (Daniel); her siblings-in-law, Reginald, Jr. (Liz), Lionel, Sr. Thomas Michael (Diltricia), Calvin (Dalisa), Melvin (Wanda), Alvin, Rodney Lamar Montgomery, Barbara Ford, Shelia Ford (John), Theresa Carroll (Fabian) and Eunice Riley (Eric); and her godmother Dorothy Ford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
