He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jane Ewels; his children, Mark Stephen Kent of Orono, Laura Kent Gordon of Wake, Elizabeth Hartwell Kent of Potomac Maryland, Christopher John Kent and Stephen Mitchell Kent; and his granddaughters, Katie, Maisie and Laura Grace Kent of Orono.
