It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Washington Lee Jr. of Potomac, Maryland, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence W. Lee, Sr. and Mary Hendricks Lee Evans of Halifax; his wife Sadie Elizabeth Lee; his children, Laverne Rosalyn Lee Harris and Lawrence Michelle Lee, III of Martinsburg; his sister Irene Lee Townsend of Chesapeake; and his children, Debra Ann Ezeji (Sunny) of Woodbridge, Virginia, Michael Edward Lee of New Orleans and Joannie Marie Brock (Willie) of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
