It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Giacalone (Potomac, Maryland), who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Tremper and Mark Tremper; her grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole and Camille; her brother Claude Giacalone; her brother-in-law Pete Smith; her goddaughter Michelle Eidell; and her siblings, Albert Giacalone, Aldo Giacalone, Joe Giacalone, Monique Smith, Francesco Paolo of Trapani and Caterina Vacca of Sardinia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
