He was predeceased by : his parents, Clara Mae Johnson Beverly and Raymond Crawford Beverly; and his sister Thelma. He is survived by : his daughter Nicole La Rue of Oxon Hill; his wife Helen; his son Juan Beverly (Kelly) of Baltimore; his brothers, Rev. Irvin Beverly (Eilene) and Malcolm Beverly; his grandchildren, Darius (Ashley), Kristen, Keely (James) and Dionne; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Micah, Sydney, Nyla and Nori; and his siblings, Raymond, Jr., Claudette, Edith, Jean, Lauretta and Mae. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sewell Funeral Home (1451 Dares Beach Rd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
