He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ernest and Susie Mister Bowen (Mister); his wife Dorothy June Bowen (Ashby); his son Paul Bowen, Jr.; his siblings, George, John, Daniel Bowen and Cecilia Bowen; and his sister-in-law Darlene Bowen.
He is survived by: his son Patrick Bowen; his brothers, Lawrence, Landell (Linda), Everett and Charles Bowen (Darlene); his grandchildren, Keith (Ashley), Brian, Brody, Kara Bowen and Eddie Grierson; and his great grandchildren, Madalynn, Gabriella, Hannah, Caden Bowen, Delaney and Paxton Grierson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
