He was predeceased by: his brother Robert David "Bob" Hawxhurst. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Hawxhurst; his children, Mary Sue Grzybowski, Christopher Hawxhurst and Joseph William Hawxhurst; and his grandchildren, Steven Grzybowski, Niki Gotsis, Karli Hawxhurst and Katherine Hawxhurst. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
