She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Ware Gattis and Emma Frances Dashields Gattis; and her husband Maurice Anderson Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Joan Stewart (Jonathan) and Maurice Anderson, Jr. (Pamela); her grandsons, Jay Stewart, Jason Stewart and Maurice Anderson, III (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Sierra Stewart, Sidney Stewart, Olivia Stewart and Avery Stewart; her sisters, Josephine Waters and Addie Wilbekin; and her siblings-in-law, Earl Waters and Iantha Gattis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
