He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DiPietro and Clorinda Varrato DiPietro. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Karl Joseph Petro, Gina Francis Petro, Joseph Carmen Petro, Elizabeth Petro Harrison, Alan Jeffery Shapiro, Jason Stuart Shapiro, Kyle Robert Pfeiffer and Callahan "Callie" Paige Pfeiffer; his great grandchildren, Joseph Carmen Petro, Jr., Sophie Elizabeth Harrison and Brianna Elisa Petro; and his sister Margaret Petro Curreri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Carmen will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on Wednesday, December 9, 2020; The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in the name of Carmen to Carroll Hospice, Inc., 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD. 21157 https: //http://www.lifebridgehealth.org.
