“I just learned of the passing of Lillie Kess Frazier. I send my deepest condolences to her family. I got to know her daughter Toni when she married Mel Fossett, my husband's Omega brother. Mrs. Frazier was my French teacher at Booker T. Washington Junior High School. I was there between 1948 to 1951. During that time, she married. I remember her very fondly. She has always been one of my favorite teachers. May she rest in peace.”
