He was predeceased by : his father Earl Morris; and his wife Ruth May Morris. He is survived by : his children, Earl W. Morris III of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard D. Morris of Finksburg, MD, Jeffrey J. Morris of Finksburg, MD, Daniel D. Morris of Hampstead, MD, Ronald A. Morris of Reisterstown, MD and Nicole S. Owings of Parkton, MD.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Glyndon 63 Sacred Heart Lane Glyndon, MD 21071.
