We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 93, Jane Benson (Reisterstown, Maryland), born in Four Oaks, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Snead Sanders and Jennings Grace Bryan Sanders; her husband Gilbert Silas Benson; her son Michael; and her brothers, Fletcher and Tom.

She is survived by : her grandchild Sande (Bill Dyott); her son Otto of Brooklyn, NY; her son-in-law Bryan (Sue) of Glyndon; her granddaughters, Emily (Michael Hamill) of Alexandria and Grace (Josh Offutt) of Baltimore; her brother Phil (Judy); and her sisters-in-law, Anne Sanders and Julia Sanders Miller. She is also survived by four children.

Due to COVID19, a private funeral will be held at this time.

Should friends desire, donations in Jane's memory may be made to the Maryland Food Bank.
