Emilia Ana Usenica Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emilia Ana Usenica of Rockville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Kostrunek and Emilia Kostrunek; her husband Luis Usenica; her daughter Norma Hughes; her grandsons, Eric Valainis (Joann) and Alexander Valainis; and her sister Elena Ruiz.
She is survived by: her children, Lidia Marcenaro and Luis E. Usenica (late Kimberly); and her grandchildren, Thanya Pinto (Mike), Rebecca Calderon, Michael Hughes, Ricky Hughes (Marissa), April Usenica (Corey), Chris Usenica (Hayleigh) and Dina Sharpe. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Shrine of St. Jude (12701 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
