He was predeceased by: his father Hong Gyun Yoon. He is survived by: his mother Kyung Nam Choi; his daughter Leah Yoon Frelinghuysen (Cyrus Frelinghuysen); his sisters, Elena Park and Grace Yoon Bunka; and his grandchildren, Eva Hyejung and Jasper Jungbin Frelinghuysen.
