He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Ross, Kayla Franklin and Kelsey Franklin; his parents, Ronald Franklin and Anita Franklin; and his siblings, Steven Franklin and Marla Vasilatos.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
