She is survived by: her siblings, Penelope Phelps of Cadillac, MI, Lancelot Phelps (Lynn) of Middlebury, VT and Elisabeth (Christopher Rector) of Thomaston, ME. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and nine grand nieces.
She was a strong advocate of organizations that help senior citizens, such as the Waxter Center, making generous donations and stressing the importance of being informed and learning about decisions affecting seniors.
