He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph Sr. and Katherine Shaffer Machovec; his wife Jacqueline Yingling Machovec; his daughter Alice Machovec Tremper; and his great grandchild Jasen Bullinger, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Edward Jr. (Lynn), Richard (Anna) and Patricia (Donald); his grandchildren, Laurie, Amy, Mary, Mackenzie, Makayla, Amanda, Alex and Jackie; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Addison, Brianna, James, John and Rocky.
