He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sharon Lee Zybell; his children, Gary T. Zybell, Jr., Donna Crandall, Tammy Denmyer and Steven Zybell; his siblings, Josephine Taylor and Bernard "Sonny" Zybell; his grandchildren, AJ, Tim, Lauren, Kyle and Amanda; and his great grandchild Knox.
