He was predeceased by: his brother John. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly P. Nelson; his children, Jacob Nelson, Brittany and Jared Nelson (Krysten); his stepchildren, Michael Lucas (Samantha) and Niki Harris (Billy); and his siblings, Karen Simmons, Geri English, Vicki Hindle and Richard Nelson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
