She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Milton Hays and Anne Laura Hays (Winfield); her husband Otha Junior Stottlemyer; her sons, Ronnie and John Stottlemyer; her grandson Dennis Stitely, Jr.; and her siblings, Josephine Buhrman and Cyrus Hays.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stitely (Denny), Patsy Harne (Buster) and Laura Wallace (David); and her sister Mary Ann Wiles. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garfield United Methodist Church (13628 Stottlemyer Rd, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
