He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Henry Abbott and Marian Applewaite Abbott Thomas; and his siblings, Shirley Abbott and Calvin Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Gloria E. Abbott; his children, Jessica Lorraine Truxon (Harold), Jocelyn Latrice Abbott, Jawanda Lene'Jackson (Amrow) and Alonzo Leon Parker (Stephanie); his siblings, Lorraine Morris (Marvin), Eugene Abbott (Gaynell), Wayne Applewaite (Paula), Gregory Abbott and Emmanuel Davis (Diane); his grandchildren, Kimani Nicole Smith, Jeremiah (C. Abbott) and Abigail Zoe Jackson; and his close friend Bishop Cecil Garfield Mullins (Delores). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Dimensions Family Ministries (1907 Jersey Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
