He is survived by: his wife Rose Smith; his daughter Jonnita Alicia Pierce; his stepchildren, Terrence Johnson and Tanisha Copeland (Donnell); and his siblings, David Pierce, Jr., George Pierce, James Pierce, Doris Hickman, Geraldine Fooks and Shirley Fooks. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
